(Greensboro) - An immigrant who cheered the terrorist attacks on New York and Washington and then showed up at work in combat fatigues was fired from his job.
Abdou Larabou Moussa, 28, was fired from his job at Kay Chemical Co. on Thursday and charged with trespassing after refusing to leave, Greensboro police said.
Company officials say Moussa loudly celebrated Tuesday's attacks and later distracted workers by dressing in combat fatigues. After his arrest, Moussa admitted he was in the country illegally, according to Detective S.E. Sanders.
Immigration and Naturalization Services will soon deport him to his home country of Niger, Sanders said.
Moussa was hired through Key Resources, a temp agency in Greensboro, and had been working in a Kay Chemical warehouse for about two weeks. He began taunting employees when he showed up for work Tuesday, Kay Chemical Vice President Steve Mosh said.
"It was incredibly inappropriate," Mosh said. "He said he was glad (the attacks) happened. He was gloating."
The next day, Moussa came to work dressed in combat fatigues. He was quickly told to go home. On Thursday, he was fired.
Moussa told his employers he wanted to come back to Kay Chemical later Thursday to get his final paycheck. But when he got there he refused to leave and was arrested, Sanders said.
Company officials were in compliance with the law when they fired Moussa, according to Deborah Ross, director of the ACLU of North Carolina.
"North Carolina is an employment-at-will state," she said. "You can be fired for your political beliefs by a private employer here."
Key Resources conducted a thorough background check on Moussa, but found nothing to indicate that he was in the country illegally, said Pam Medlin, owner of the temp agency.

The fricking ACLU will probably still try to take up the bonehead's case.

Now strip him of citizenship and ship his worthless a** back to point of origin.

After rereading this I find he was here illegally. Then before shipping him back give him some prison time for breaking our laws and make sure his cell mates are a bunch of those white supremacists we're always hearing about.
As far as the background check. Sounds like one more area somebody is dropping the ball bigtime. Does anyone know how background checks for foreigners are conducted and who conducts them?

This was posted yesterday. This jerk was working at a chemical plant! Anyone concerned about that? I cant understand why his coworkers left him walk out of that place. Frankly, I'm horribly disappointed in my fellow Americans that didn't kick his a$$...

Yeah that crossed my mind too. Guess it shows America isn't filled with all those violent racists the liberal/communists keep saying it is.
To: a_federalist
Not only ship this guy's worthless a$$ back, I'd like to see a complete immediate crackdown on every foreigner that is here without proper documentation. No questions asked, no compassionate niceties, you're outta here. If you show your face here again, you're in violation of US law and you're in the slammer. Another thing, I'm seeing these letters to the editor from "Muslim Arab Americans" in the papers in the wake of this thing. If you can't identify yourself as strictly an American, go back to your "Muslim Arab" country. Leave your citizenship papers (if you have them) at the door on the way out. Take your hyphenated butt back. Either you're totally with us, or totally against us.

Had it happened where I work, a few of us would have stomped a mudhole in his ass and walked it dry.

Had this occurred at my work place, I would like to believe that I, and my fellow workers would have uncorked a bottle of vintage whoop-a$$. My brother was in the Pentagon on Tuesday, and it was not until much later that night, I found out he was o.k. Had this moron been there celebrating all day, his ride from work would have been an ambulance.

The fricking ACLU will probably still try to take up the bonehead's case. The ACLU is also battling the concept of a "moment of silence" to mourn in these cases as well. They state that it "promotes religion". Jerks!

The "freedom versus security" tradeoff is a false choice. The WTC attack did not occur because Americans have too much freedom.
It occurred because:
- U.S. border/immigration policy (or selective enforcement thereof) allowed known terrorists to enter and remain in the country while attending flight school.
- The terrorists were able to gain access to the cockpits of the hijacked aircraft.
The fact that William Cohen, Dick Gephardt and other statists propound that the only solution to terrorism is to "trade freedom for security" betrays the reality that their true agenda is to curtail freedom.

, along with those two illegals partying hardy at Liberty State Park. The arrogance and stupidity of these people are breathtaking. They think this is their country now. They think they've won the US for the Islamics now.
