The design for the New NY Tower was made by our own Registered based on my suggestion to him a few days ago. Because of the controversial nature of the design, I won't post the picture of it here. Instead you can visit it on my New NY Tower Page. Please be advised that some of you might find this graphic offensive. However, it is not nearly as offensive as what the terrorists perpetrated last Tuesday. This graphic is currently being used to raise funds for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.

So what do you think of the graphic? True, some might find it offensive but I find it very appropriate. From the ashes of the World Trade Center Towers will rise a nation united in its defiance of Osama Bin Laden and his fellow terrorists.

I, for one, absolutely LOVE the design and will be glad to wear a t-shirt to my job, a couple of blocks from the WTC, on "casual Friday."

Well, it's already been done before, pj. Not as well as the design made by Registered. BTW, I thought up this design before I later saw similar ones. The trouble with the others is that they are mostly somewhat crudely done. Since this one was illustrated by Registered, you know it was done by a MASTER.

Leaves little to imagination!

I want an office on the top floor.

Leaves little to imagination! I saw a similar design with a bunch of buildings arranged that way. Problem was the cubism of the design made it hard to get the point. I wanted something that would hit hard upon first sight. Also note the ashlike texture that Registered used. Plus we have appropriate wording and great lettering designed by Registered. Sorry if folks were offended by the design but I think the act perpetrated last Tuesday was a lot more offensive.

It was a compliment!

Oh, OK. I am so used to criticism by "art experts" that I almost forgot what real folks think on the subject of art. My apologies.

I believe that you got that idea from a Spin City episode.
By the way I love it.
My wife says it's sooo New Yorky.

As an exmilitarty person I can appreciate the brand of humor, but in the long run I am counting on Ben Laden getting more than "the finger".

You ought to, that episode was a masterpiece. In short the Mayor's office commissioned an artist to sculpt an art piece that would depect a New Yorker's sentiment of the city.
When it was unvailed they were looking at a big hand flipping them off.

Our design is less cubist, plus it is definitely more defiant. Since I was thinking in terms of how it would appear on T-Shirts, etc., our design was done in such a way as to jump out at you. If it didn't I could have posted it here.

I wasn't trying to overshadow yours, quite the opposite. You and Registered did an great job on the graphics, especially the details.
