Well, that defiance got a little closer to reality yesterday with the United States moving planes, ships, and materiel. About 100 planes were dispatched, along with the Roosevelt carrier battle group, to locations in the mid-east.
It is being rumored that the cleric council meeting in Afghanistan has asked Osama bin Laden to leave "for the good of the country."
Tampa Channel 8 has forbidden on air personalities to wear red, white, and blue ribbons because the management of that facility intends to question the President's actions.
There has been an increase in flags flown in recent days, and ABC News Radio reports a leading manufacturer of our National symbol has received an order for immediate production of 600,000 more. That "leading manufacturer" is located in the Peoples Republic of China.
Posters, an admonition. Please do not post news of military movements unless that news has either been reported by Fox News (who have publicly announced they will air nothing on that issue unless it has been cleared by the Pentagon), or if the source is not Fox News then there should be at least two major, credible news outlets reporting the story. It is YOUR National Security that is in question.

The remnants of TD NINE is crossing Central America and is likely to enter EASTPAC and regenerate in that discussion area.
There is a signficant amount of convection going on in a system about 500 miles NE of Puerto Rico in a low pressure trof. Conditions are not favorable for development.
Elsewhere there are no systems of note and tropical storm formation is not expected through Friday.
