JUDICIAL WATCH ASKS THAT IRS INVESTIGATE
AND SHUT DOWN TERROR FINANCIAL NETWORK
LIKELY LINKED TO BIN LADEN NETWORK
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch today joined the
war against terrorism by filing a complaint with the
Internal Revenue Service requesting a full-scale
investigation of a number of front operations, most
pretending to be charities, for radical Islamic terrorist
organizations. The complaint was filed with IRS
Commissioner Charles Rossotti and a copy was sent
to the President, the Treasury Secretary, and the
Attorney General to further insure swift action. A

Judicial Watch investigators, using public sources
such as The New York Times, have found that at
least 16 non-profit entities and 4 for-profit entities
have been linked financially to the bin Laden network
and/or the vicious terror group Hamas. Based on
Judicial Watch’s analysis of publicly available
documents, and other published reports, it is clear
that this U.S.-based network has provided
financial resources for Osama Bin Laden and his
terrorist operations.
One group in particular, the Islamic African Relief
Agency (based in Missouri), reportedly transferred
money to another organization, Mercy International,
another “front” non-profit group. It was Mercy
International which reportedly purchased the vehicles
used by bin Laden to bomb U.S. embassies in Kenya
and Tanzania on August 8, 1998.
“The IRS has a sorry history of auditing Bill Clinton’s
perceived political opponents during the Clinton
Administration and of maliciously harassing
law-abiding citizens in general. Perhaps now the IRS
can perform a public service by following the law and
bringing its powers to bear on a financial network
that has been linked to murderous terrorism. Our
lives are at stake. This U.S.-based terror finance
network must be ended immediately,” stated Judicial
Watch Chairman Larry Klayman.

Judicial Watch Ready To Assist Victims
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman announced today that the non-profit public interest law firm will pursue Osama Bin Laden and his and other related terrorist networks through every legal channel available in the United States and internationally. The first step will be to follow the money, “some of which comes from U.S. sources.”
According to Klayman, “All terrorist organizations have to have money, large sums of money, to operate. In the United States, terrorist organizations frequently create phony tax exempt organizations to raise money to finance their criminal activities.” Today, one of the great ironies of the horrific terrorist attack on the World Trade Center is that it may have been financed by ‘tax exempt’ contributions. The IRS should investigate, audit and shut down these terrorist front organizations. The IRS should no longer turn a blind eye to terrorist money laundering.”
Today, Judicial Watch will file complaints with the IRS seeking to shut down these “tax exempt” front organizations.
Judicial Watch will also immediately undertake a thorough investigation of any financial holdings in the United States that are linked to the Bin Laden financial empire. Klayman said he will utilize the top investigators of Judicial Watch, and informants who have and will come forward.
Of course, Judicial Watch also stands ready to legally assist the terrorists’ victims and the victims’ families concerning last week’s terrorist activities. We intend to bring Bin Laden to justice.

Even I can't believe that JW would stoop so low as to con money out of people by making them think that they are hunting down terrorists.
JW's mode of operation is to read about something in the newspaper and then file some frivilous complaint or lawsuit that gets dismissed after the story is no longer news worthy enough to generate contributions.
This is almost as shameful as JW blaming President Bush for the attacks.

The family of Hani Masri donated $6,000 directly to Mrs. Clinton's campaign on May 11 and 12 of this year. On May 12, Clinton attended a fund raiser at Masri's Washington, D.C., mansion - which, as the Jewish Forward reported later that month, was closed to the press and was not even listed on her daily schedule.In May alone, Masri himself donated $134,000 to the Democratic Party - money that could be funneled into Clinton's Senate campaign. FEC records show a handful of other Masri contributions to various Democratic causes going all the way back to 1995, but nothing like the burst of generosity in May 2000.
The Masri family controls the Palestinian Development Investment Co., a business entity with ties to Yasser Arafat. Masri himself has been described as "an advisor" to Arafat.
According to the Forward, another company run by Masri, Capital Investment Management Corp., was awaiting approval from the Clinton administration for a $60 million loan guaranteed by U.S. taxpayers through the Overseas Private Investment Corp (OPIC).Masri told the Forward that he was asked by Mrs. Clinton's campaign to stage the secret fund raiser.FEC records show a total of $9,000 contributed directly to Clinton by Mr. Masri, his wife, Cheryl, and other apparent relatives, Jane and Zaher Masri, on or shortly before the day of the event.
All their contributions list Washington, D.C., or Virginia addresses. Masri's Capital Investment Management Corp. is located in McLean, Va. Six weeks after the secret gathering, the Clinton campaign returned $3,000 to Zaher Masri for reasons that are unclear.
A total of $50,000 was raised at the off-the-record event.In the final weeks of the campaign, Mrs. Clinton has come under fire for attending a June fund raiser sponsored by the American Muslim Alliance, which reportedly advocates violence against Israel.
Clinton denied any knowledge of the group's sponsorship, though two White House documents, an e-mail and even a photograph of her at the event holding a plaque bearing the AMA's name have emerged to contradict her alibi.
Meanwhile, her solicitation of friends of Yasser Arafat at an event deliberately concealed from the press has gone virtually unreported."
IMHO opinion, we will see many demonicRat senators and congressits resign to spend more time with their families if the IRS investigates these Arab non profits and their donations to politicians!
