WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A Defense Department intelligence analyst was arrested on Friday on charges of conspiring to deliver U.S. national defense information to Cuba, the FBI and Justice Department said.
FBI agents arrested Ana Belen Montes, 44, an employee of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Friday morning without incident at the agency's headquarters at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C., they said.
She has been employed by the Defense Intelligence Agency as an analyst since 1985, they said. The FBI said it also has obtained search warrants for her residence in Washington, D.C., for her car, her office and her safe-deposit box at a local bank.

I did a tour at DIA, 1984-1988, as a computer technician. Only the MOST CLASSIFIED information is acquired, disseminated, and processed here. Hope the damage was small. Glad they got her. She's Cuban.

And Cuba can then sell the secrets to others, like terrorists. Maybe that's how they obtained secret information on Air Force One.

Sounds like they're finally cleaning house. 1985?! Would America support executing a woman for treason after Sept.11?
