CNN is now re-running the documentary on the Taliban atrocities in Afghanistan. I missed some of it the first time and am glad they are showing it again. Just wanted to let anybody who wants to watch it again.

The libs will be able to reconcile all of that nasty killing stuff about to happen to "poor" Afghanistan shortly.
They aren't exactly the premier advocates for women's rights around the world, in which case any qualms about messy things about to happen and respecting other cultures goes out the window.

Excellent program, though it's haunted me since it first aired. Made me wonder where the UN has been.

This is an excellent film, and for those who might have missed it now, it is rerunning--according to CNN commercials--Sunday at 7pm eastern.

Thanks.
It's good. A Taliban guy is talking about all the great things they've accomplished and starts off with "We've disarmed the population..." I'm amazed they showed that on CNN.

...and no, it wasn't a slap at women. I'll bet every lib in the country feels like HAL9000.

I hope SOMEONE is filming this so that when civilians are killed by our coalition bombs, we can show the pictures of football stadiums cheering executions. Looked a lot like the old Roman Coliseum to me. Also, we need to remind them of the rubble of Kabul BEFORE the bombing.
This is one of the best program I've ever watched on CNN.
The 2-hour FOX special with Linda Vester and Jon Scott was excellent. Baker, Gingrich, Kissinger, Holbrooke, Ross, Webster, Julawan (sp?), Kirkpatrick, and some expert on terrorism. Really excellent dialogue.
Does anyone know the whereabouts of Peter Arnett? He's certain to show up any day.

The libs will be able to reconcile all of that nasty killing stuff about to happen to "poor" Afghanistan shortly. They'll all be preaching tolerance for the wonderful diversity of world cultures.

Yeah I just posted about this. These Taliban clowns are total fu(king Nazis, make no mistake. I saw them execute women with an AK in a football stadium funded by international aid. Whenasked why they use a football stadium for mass executions of both men and women, the Taliban rep. complained that the international community should fund specially constructud mass execution buildings, and then they wouldn't have to use the football stadium. I am now convinced that the Taliban must be obliterated in order to save Afghanistan. It just doesn't get much more fascist than these guys...

Not if you approach it correctly with them. Forget the Pentagon and the World Trade Center, tell the people that the Taliban clubs baby seals, or that they don't even (gasp!) recycle.
Either of the above reasons will plenty for liberals to overcome their supposed 'revulsion' to killing. /sarcasm

It's been said before, but where are the people who bitch and moan about how the US is exploiting children and women and all that stuff? The Taliban has the Afghani women, all of them, in a police state where the women are not provided education, medical care, basic necessities and are beaten vigorously in public. Where in the hell are these people. What have they been doing for so long to not notice this insanity??? Where are Susan Sarandon and Barbra Streisand...where's Hillary???
Most of them have been attending lavish parties where they talk about how the US exploits women and children. Oh, it's ridiculous. I really dislike those hypocrites.

If that doesn't work, just tell 'em that the Taliban doesn't like homosexuals, you know how mad those guys get.
The liberals would be willing to wipe every last one of 'em off the face of the earth for that alone.
To: Bush2004
This is so unbelievably sad and tragic. If we pass up the opportunity to rid Afghanistan of the Taliban, and help the people of Afghanistan NOW we will have a harder time in keeping a solid coalition with us. This country BEGS for help, and should be rid of these psychotics NOW.
