The District and the National Park Service have issued official permits to an anti-war group, allowing it to march and assemble up to 8,000 protesters on Saturday in Lafayette Park, just across the street from the White House.
The permits were issued Friday to the International Action Center

Well, I see very big cans of "wup-ass" being opened the moment these twerps start what they did in Italy. These idiots do not believe that this is serious yet but they will.

We should keep 24-hour staffing of protesters in all major cities. The Taliban would not dare attack.

ROFLOL!

I'm not wishing an attack on anyone, but it would be interesting to see the reaction if there was one.
I wonder how long it would take for these idiots to run screaming for blood if a few hundred of their followers met the same fate as the people in the WTC.

I wonder how long it would take for these idiots to run screaming for blood if a few hundred of their followers met the same fate as the people in the WTC. Look at these losers and then picture them in a job that would even place them in the WTC. All of us "old folks" have seen this type before. They are not "anti-war" they are "anti-don't call me up".
To: Texasforever
P.S. I'm not wishing it on them either. That was very gallows humor.

You mean anti call-me-up (or draft) right?
Right now it appears we are not lacking for volunteers. Suddenly finding yourself in a war zone can do that!!!

"In light of the recent attacks, and the cancellation of the IMF meetings, we thought it important to refocus our protest and deal with the backlash against Arab-Americans, and this so-called war nothing more than a bombing expedition that will kill tens of thousands of civilians," Miss Sloan said. There you have it, folks. Unquestionable proof that these people want to protest and cause civil unrest purely in order to protest and cause civil unrest. Original reason for the gathering goes away? That's all right, we'll just come up with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT reason!

Right now it appears we are not lacking for volunteers. There is nothing more dangerous than a Soldier that is not drafted. We can all take a lot of comfort in that.

Now that the IMF/World Bank has (sensibly) called off its toublesome DC meeting, the protestors need another cause. And any old atrocity will do, so long as it can be twisted against America.
These people are scum.

Add on anti America and anti action .
In any case, you're right .

P.S. I'm not wishing it on them either. That was very gallows humor.Be careful with your humor about such things. I made a post a couple of days ago where we were joking about how little we would care if anyone happened to bomb Hollywood. Some jerkoff hit the abuse button, and some moron moderator immediately put me on a three-day posting suspension. Didn't even get an explanation why. I had to ask JimRob himself in order to find out what I had supposedly done in the first place. He looked it up and told me, and was also kind enough to remove the suspension.
But just keep it in mind, some people around here are getting a bit jumpy.

Thanks for warning. One's sense of humor bends a bit under stress.
