Good morning.. Tomkitty,

Did you read the latest on the Rally? Are you going still? You'll have to have a lot of self control..

mornin' J.

haven't checked yet,
but the meeting place/time was finally posted last night.

am feeling very uncharitable this morning.
the 'disappearance' of those in question would be a catharsis,
and cause me not a jot of remorse.

Good morning.... I read the thread and now I have to shower. I can't believe I actually got up in time to make bacon and eggs for the kids. I have to take them to school in half an hour.... so here's my marker for the thread and I'll BBL.

good morning, desert flower.

did i ever tell you...

that my first year of HS was on the Navajo reservation
in the northwest corner of New Mexico ?

a wide spot in the road named Tohatchi (look it up ;-).

post office, trading post, two pub schools, one Navajo boarding school,
~1500 souls, couple churchs, & a cattle guard at most iintersections...

once one is acclimated, the desert is extraordinary.
it was quite a change for a midwestern boy...

I agree with what that guy said last night
for God to give us free will
and then punish us for making the wrong choice
is not a nice thing to do
and isn't very free
God would never be not nice
nor dishonest
so I don't believe He punishes us for wrong choice
Love, Palo

rode horses, wrestled sheep, picked tumbleweed outta my butt...

at school, the same guy coached both basketball & cross country.
if you wanted to play b-ball, you had to run cc too.
(there were 24 anglos, 3 blacks, & 340 navajo kids at the school)
as the newbie, i was the only one who'd never lived at altitude before.
and both our track and all the surrounding land were sand.
i have vehemently hated running for sport ever since ... J
