YAHOO! this is the best news i've had in WEEKS!
To: kinganamort
It's nice to be able to see a female use the phrase "serving the President" and not immediately think of something filthy.

She'll be running in (I assume) a newly-created open seat in the heavily-Republican SW Florida area. She should - knock on wood - be a shoo-in for Congress in 2002.
Does anyone know if the redistricting plan for Florida really did put Wexler & Deutsch (the two Palm Beach/SE Florida Jew-area liberal DemoNazis) in the same district? I thought I heard that the Republicans backed off on doing that.
To: DownWithGreenspan
She will be running in the district of a retiring (R) congressman and we expect little challenge for the seat. However, the Florida Dems will use defeating her as a campaign issue to raise money for other more competitive races throughout Florida.
And what's with the 'Jew-area' comment??
To: BlueNgold
The national media regularly refers to various voting pockets in the U.S. as "black areas", "heavily Arab areas"', "mostly Irish precincts", "Latino precincts" as well as "a state heavily influenced by the Morman faith". Hope this helps answer your question.

the media is already itching to dig their claws in! I read the reuters article and it made me wanna barf! she needs a good press person, cause they hate her.
To: kinganamort
Hopefully we will get more in congress who will DO THEIR JOB rather than skirt chasing.
To: all

She looks good!

This is wonderful news. I expect the FL dem party will hit self-destruct mode a few weeks before the election and totally freaked by election day. FOFL. I might have to take a few trips to FL to volunteer in the campaigns for both Katherine Harris and Jeb Bush. Wouldn't want to miss out on the fun.
