Hey MI, He does seem to be handling it well but I guess he's had all summer to accept it and try to find a cause and solution for it. It's really sad.

Hi all... it tookme forever to read through the last thread - of course wandering away from the computer for various reasons slows me down, too.

I did hear Rush explain his new deafness on the radio today. Very sad, but he won't be a deaf "victim" - he'll find ways to compensate and may even help out other deaf people in the process.

I see that on this and the previous thread there are a lot of complaints about the site being slow - it may be fixed now because I haven't noticed it.

maybe it's going fast for me because I'm all alone
