This was received from Pubmom just a little while ago:
"Please pray for my husband. Something really awful has happened. He is a highway construction inspector and there was a terrible accident involving a speeding truck on his jobsite. Three men who worked for the contractor were killed instantly, and three others were injured so badly, he said it did not look like they will make it. He said all he has been able to do is pray.
He was standing where these men were killed and would have still been there if he hadn't decided to call me at that time.
While I praise God for his hand on my husband, my heart breaks for those that have had their loved one taken in such a sudden, unexpected, cruel way."
TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS:
Pubmom has reported that another of the severely injured men has also died. Please pray for these injured men, their families, and for Pubmom's husband to get home safely. Thank you!

Heavenly Father, thank You that pubmom's husband was unhurt in this terrible accident. Thank You for bringing him home safely to his family. Send Your Holy Spirit to comfort him tonight and in the days and weeks ahead, Dearest Lord, and let Your peace settle on their household. Grant pubmom whatever insight and wisdom she may need to help her husband during this time.
Father, protect and care for the families and friends left grieving by this tragedy, and especially comfort the children. Open Your hand and provide for their every need in the days, weeks and years ahead. Let them lack for nothing, particularly family love and unity, and give each person the sure and certain knowledge that they will all be together again in Your presence. Cause beloved relatives to stand together to care for the children, and let their arms be comforting and reassuring to these little ones. Surround each family member with Your holy angels for protection and guidance. Thank You Father. In Jesus' name...Amen!
