2- I think I would prefer the Doxycycline(sp?) to the Cipro, from what I have read.
3- Anthrax is a bacteria. Smallpox is a virus. There are NO antibiotic treatments for ANY viruses.

They same old scare script whereby they hint at things{in this case "vacines'} & the next few days the story develops in the lamestream news.

I work @ night & have been noticing this pattern for many years.

I had a physical today and asked my Dr. to give me a prescription for Septra or Doxycyline, just so I could have a few courses on hand should things go south. His reply: (paraphrased)

"This is getting out of hand, Its just not medically responsible and its inapropriate from public health point of view. Mothers are giving their kids Cipro at the first sign of sniffles. If there is a bioterror attack, the pharacuetical companies are not going to shut down and the Interstate highways are not going to be closed. We are going to take care of you and there will be antibiotics for everyone."

Now, this was just before the prostate exam, so I dropped the subject as I wanted him as calm as possible while administering the check-up.

Needless to say, this guy is a sheeple and is following the Governement line.

Arrangements are in the works for a Veteranarian to provide the prescriptions. I just hope I don't end up with horse pills.

The guy is a good doctor but like everyone who relies on CNN for the news, he is hopelessly blind.

He does have a sence of humor though, just before the prostate exam he says "I have good news and bad news, which do you want first" I said the bad news. He says "Your over 40 and you need your prostate checked"....and the good news?, He says "your under 50 so we don't have to use the endoscope".

As he is giving me the exam he says, "if you feel on hand on your shoulder during this check up its ok. If you feel hands on both shoulders, then you've got a problem."

If there is a large bio attack, millions of Americans will die!

Our government has been too lazy,too corrupt,too treasonous to attend to their duties!

They all, including Condit and Clinton ,will probably survive the attack, while many of us, freepin peons will die!
