Launching this weekend: PatriotWatch.com (Our Patriotically Correct website)

The Veteran's Memorial Auditorium: There is a dedication to those killed in war, inscribed in marble at the front of the Memorial Auditorium. It reads: "This building is dedicated to those who made the supreme sacrifice in the service of the United States."

This historic and living tribute to our soldiers opened in 1927 on a block donated by Sacramento city founder John Sutter and dedicated to Sacramentans who died in war. An honor roll listing Sacramentans killed in battle from the Spanish American War through Persian Gulf War is housed in a room adjacent to the main lobby. We pray no new names of fellow Sacramentians who will be engaged in Operation Enduring Freedom will be added to this honor roll.of veterans in Sacramento. In fact, as veteran supporters we suggest anti-war protests on these hallowed ground desecrate and insult the men and women of our armed forces this grand building represents. They represent only 10 per cent of the U.S. population and provide media capital to our enemies. That is one thing, their choice of location is another and is an insult to America's heroes, past and present.

The KCRA-3 news item tonight leads: SACRAMENTO -- Not all Americans are supporting the president's war on terrorism. Protests can be seen almost daily at the corner of 16th and J streets in front of the Memorial Auditorium.

Notice: KCRA reported some of the organizers are TEACHERS? What are they telling our kids in the classroom or in our colleges? Will they be turning out flag burners too?

We know what 6th grade teacher Kory Clift does when not resisting arrest in Oakland and at Sac State or being booked for the attempted murder of Sacramento School District remain silent of flag burning teacher.

Yesterday's Sac Bee: By Sandy Louey Bee Staff Writer (Published Oct. 10, 2001) A sixth-grade teacher at North Avenue Elementary School is apparently facing suspension or dismissal for allegedly burning a portion of an American flag in his classroom. Clift made statements such as "I can't burn it all 'cause that's illegal" and "Babylon is burning," and he called the United States the "United Snakes," according to the district.

Now the cover-up - the broken promise of disclosure October 9th.: Superintendent Carl Mark Jr. said Tuesday night that he has made a decision about Clift's disciplinary action, but declined to disclose any details. "The specifics of any action taken so far remains a confidential personnel matter," he said.

Then there's the Bee's praise of Memorial Auditorium protesters and demonizing those who found their presence offensive.: Golden day in capital area clouded by many emotions: Residents encounter private fears and public protests. By Deb Kollars and Silvina Martínez Bee Staff Writers
(Published Oct. 8, 2001)

The bombing of Afghanistan may have been half a world away, but it brought an explosion of emotions to the Sacramento region on Sunday. Near Memorial Auditorium, a large man in a burgundy van stopped traffic for three full light changes while he shouted profanities and used his middle finger to condemn a group of people protesting the bombing.

Forget the facts: No mention of the Bee people calling police on protesters nor the police to threaten one with arrest when he kept jumping into the street even after three prior warnings and telling SPD Sgt. Elmo Banning, "Go work somewhere else!"

Well Mr. Anti-war protester... we have a message for you!
THIS SUNDAY October 14th at 2:00 p.m.

Thank You.... and yes, we can use all the help we can get, so feel free to cust and paste away.

Please help us spread the word. We do this for Vets past and present. The Bible says, "Honor thy Mother and Father" and I do this for the dad I never knew who gave his life in World War Two.

Did everyone hear and or join in on the united pledge today? It was AWESOME! Of course, the Sacto KNCI 105.1FM country station then played "God Bless the USA." That song makes me cry with pride every time I hear it. We have GOT to have that song at the protest!!!

IN THE LIGHT OF ALL THAT HAS BEEN OCCURING THESE PAST FEW YEARS, AND SPECIFICALLY WHAT HAPPENED LAST MONTH, I AM COMPLETELY IN FAVOR OF WAR. I BELIEVE THERE IS A REASON WHY WE CHOSE BUSH FOR PRESIDENT. IT IS HIS JOB TO DETERMINE WHAT IS BEST FOR AMERICA. IF HE SAYS WAR, I WILL FOLLOW HIM. I DO NOT THINK IT IS NECESSARY FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERMINE HIS DECISION WHEN WE DO NOT KNOW THE WHOLE TRUTH AND HE DOES. IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH SAVING OUR COUNTRY, THEN YOU SHOULD NOT BE AN AMERICAN. IF YOU ARE IN FAVOR OF THE TERRORISTS AND FEEL SORRY FOR THEM.... THEN GET OUT. WE DO NOT NEED YOU TO CAUSE CONFUSION IN THE MASSES IN THIS TIME OF PATRIOTISM.
