Cornel West: Twin Tower Aid Same as Slavery Reparations

Harvard African-American studies professor Cornel West complained this week that while Americans are anxious to give "reparations" to the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon, they continue to resist calls to compensate for another form of terrorism -- slavery.
Speaking to Harvard's Kennedy Schools ARCO Forum Wednesday, West mused that "America has been 'n - - - - rized'" by the Sept. 11 attacks.
According to the Harvard Crimson, "he expressed a slight indignation over politicians’ sudden infatuation with spending in the wake of the attacks."
"Sounds an awful lot like reparations to me," the noted professor announced to shouts of "Amen!" from the crowd.
"I didn’t think America was into reparations," he observed.
West reminded his auduence that African-Americans have suffered "institutional forms of terrorism" (slavery) long before Sept. 11.

This explains, of course, why Jesse Jackson was telling Chris Matthews that slavery was American terrorism (which Jesse pronounces "terrier-ism". Thankly Chris wasn't buying the argument.

Cornel West is one of the drum majors of victimism who bedevil black Americans and keep them from focusing on their own betterment. Anyone who'd accept a position as a "Professor of African-American Studies" has 2.5 strikes against him when he comes to the plate, of course, but West also has a long
published history of blaming whites for every problem known to blacks in this country. He can safely be ignored.

"terrier-ism" LOL! Those little dogs can get really mean. What an idiot! Yeah, Jesse said the word "terrier-ism" at least 20 times in the course of the 1/2 hour. Chris Matthews asked him if the US had ever engaged in terrorism and Jesse came up with slavery. Eventually Chris asked him how he expected to go to Afghanistan and represent the USA if we can't agree on the definition of "terrorism". Jesse was stunned.

May I politely suggest that Professor West take his sorry, whining, greedy, money-grubbing, racist a**.......high-tail it to the nearest airport........and purchase a one-way ticket back to The Motherland. They'll welcome him with open arms, shower him in riches and glory, place him on a pedestal, and surround him with dozens of young virgins.

Cornell Pest is just another of the lone line of people from Harvard with an acute case of Veritas-trax.
