Journal:
McKinney's sniping an embarrassment
Staff
Tuesday, October 16, 2001
TWICE IN RECENT days we've had reason to appreciate Mark Twain's wisdom for noting: "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
Most recently, when U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-Ga.) apologized to Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal after the prince's $10 million donation was rejected by New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. And before that, when the prince suggested that U.S. policy in the Middle East was partly to blame for the attacks, prompting Giuliani to reject the donation.
"We must address some of the issues that led to such a criminal attack," the prince had said. "I believe the government of the United States of America should re-examine its policies in the Middle East."
In a letter of apology to the prince, McKinney said she regretted that Giuliani turned down the donation. "Whether he agreed with you or not," McKinney wrote to the prince, "I think he should have recognized your right to speak and make observations about a part of the world which you know so well."
Try telling the thousands of Americans whose relatives were killed and maimed in the attacks of Sept. 11 that they should appreciate a donor who suggests the victims are to blame for the atrocities. Offering a reasonable explanation for terrorism is like trying to telling the rape victim that if her skirt just hadn't been so short . . .
We'd like to offer an apology, too: to Americans, for Cynthia McKinney, who actually believes it's OK that foreign dignitaries would outrageously blame America --- the people she represents, the government she participates in --- for being attacked. Who actually believes that the terrorists will go away if we give up our friend Israel --- incidentally, the only democracy in the Middle East.
McKinney talks and behaves as though she is not a part of the American government, but is instead a free-lance critic whose constituency is the world. We weren't surprised, for example, that she --- a representative of the Congress of the United States --- stayed behind at the recent hate-filled Durban conference against hate after the government of the United States pulled out. But she really should decide whether she wants to be a representative of Americans --- or a grievance-bearer for the world's self-annointed victims.
McKinney's apology to the Saudi prince implies that Giuliani was wrong to reject the donation. Giuliani acted honorably, which is more than we can say for the congresswoman from Georgia.

And I can't believe this is an editorial from the Atlanta Journal/Constitution. The world really has changed since 911.

McKinney = poster girl for Very Stupid and Vile left wing affirmative action persons in action with her mouth!
Guess that her district is just like her and probably voted 180% for Goron in the last election and for her!
To: Roswell Bear
Her district is a disgrace to keep electing too but hey, all of the Atlanta Metro government is a disgrace so what can we expect from the Metro Area. That is why we are having the flight to the suburbs. I campaigned for Sunny Warren last year and plan to do so again in the next election. She would be a great representative.

AJC left out a big detail...her blatant pimping. She was offering "people of color" for sale at a price of 10 million dollars.
Another race whore.

Maxine Waters will have to crank it up a notch to beat this.

"..Another race whore." She's acting as an agent and was trying to secure her usual 10% brokers fee for setting up Alweed with a new money laundry.
I agree, the fact that this article was printed in the Atlanta General Constipation proves beyond doubt that times have indeed changed.

I posted this the other day. It is a page dedicated to Comrade McKinney. Now that the Communists have receeded, she is a big fan of the Muslims. If space aliens were attacking America, she would be supporting the space aliens. This woman is simply full of hate for America.
Comrade McKinney

In the morning paper - the Constitution, they printed about 6 scathing letters to the editor. Not one was favorable. Ouch. Usually the Atlanta Constitution can find one syncophant. Musta blistered her in the afternoon paper (the Journal)

Yeah, but I think she is up to the task. If anyone can do it, Maxine can.

This is the quote that the AJC left out as reported by Newsmax...............She is a disgrace... Although your offer was not accepted by Mayor Giuliani, I would like to ask you to consider assisting Americans who are in dire need right now." McKinney was referring to "the poor and people of color," according to the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, which first reported her apology on Sunday.

Miss Cynthia's email address?
Here you goBut do go HERE first; this article includes most of the text of McKinney's fawning letter to the prince. If you're going to send a nastygram, it might as well have quotes in it.
Keep the Rolaids handy while you read it.

McKinney's being elected tell me that many Georgians are dumb Democrats, and deserve what they get from this traitor.
