One-term George
In 1992 and 1996 we elected a brilliant president who led this country to its highest potential with the best economy in this country's history. His foreign policies and hard work went far toward peace in the Middle East. Through no fault of his, it failed. He worked diligently for peace in Ireland also. As a result, he is warmly received throughout the world for his hard work toward peace, his intelligence and his caring for all people.
In 2000 we had a fraudulent election with widespread corruption by the GOP. The Supreme Court decided whom it wanted and installed him in the White House.
For the first time in our history, we have a non-elected commander in chief leading us. Voters' wishes were irrelevant and ignored, so we now have a person who knew nothing about the economy or foreign policy and had no real-world experience leading us. We have the old men from 20 years ago, Cheney and Rumsfeld, to see us through these bad times.
As Americans, we will be behind this man because of the war and the tradition of backing the commander in chief during times like these. Thankfully, though, he will be leading us for only one term and his service will be temporary.

I doubt W could care less if he has one term or two.
He has a mission and a purpose now that is much bigger than that mere president job.

A classic example of democRATS ignorance.I'm glad to see it published. It'll p*** off a bunch of swing voters who don't care to see Florida rehashed during wartime. If your enemy is shooting himself in the foot, don't stop him...

Pure ignorance. I guess she would be happy if we still had Bill Cohen writing poetry in the Pentagon instead of executing a war plan, and Madeline Allbright giving away everything from Boston to Trenton to appease the terrorists. She probably could not read her ballot right either. (/sarcasm)

I noticed this woman lives fairly near Orlando, Florida. She obviously has taken one too many trips to Fantasyland.

Yes, classic - I think we have the man elected in 1992 and 1996 to thank for the mess we are in now - 8 years of bad leadership put us here.

As a result, he is warmly received throughout the world for his hard work toward peace, his intelligence and his caring for all people. As they say on Wall Street every day, "Some people are just born to be customers."
I think that phrase applies to Ms. Pierce, too.

This is so stupid it's not worth getting angry over. How old is she, 12? She isn't a hired writter, is she? Must be an OP-ED piece from a local dimwit.

I saw that letter too this morning and it made me sick! Wait until you see the volume of letters to the editor in response. Can't wait!! She is living in the wrong area of Florida for attitudes like hers. Clinton is hated in NW Fla!

Anyone read past the first sentence?

Actually, Orlando is a long way from where this woman lives, near Pensacola. She resides in strong GOP territory, but I'll agree she also lives in Fantasyland.

I don't think we have to worry about every idiotic letter to the editor in the country.

--I sincerely HOPE that he just does a job to the best of his ability and doesn't spend two seconds on worrying about getting re-elected. If he does that, he will naturally get re elected. If he fails, and does half baked scheme after another, and three years from now we still are being hit by terrs, we are actively fighting in 6 countries overseas to some scale or another, and the economy has collapsed, and all we got to show for it is a worse police state and incredible expanding debt, he'll lose to anyone else in a landslide. That's reality. his dad had an over 90% approval rating during the gulf war, but he still lost to clinton eventually.

No point in reading beyond that.

"...he is warmly received throughout the world for his hard work toward peace, his intelligence and his caring for all people."
This little cupcake conveniently forgets that during one of Slimey Bill's last legacy-building PR junkets he was burned in effigy in Athens, the Prime Minister of India told him in so many words to mind his own business, and a decoy plane had to be used when he went to Pakistan because the people there were plotting to assassinate him. "Warmly received", yeh, right, sure...

Dear Anita,
Per FOX News, citizens of the US would rather have GWB leading us in this crisis rather than Bubber by a "whopping 72% to 20%".
Kinda puts it all in perspective don't it?

just as surely as a stock pick of mine will then fall to new lows...lol....I'll write this post reply and the thread too will die.....That said, and because I'm pc talent stupid,I'll use this to carry two themes.Theme one: Elian Gonzalez,....Theme TWO...Pensacola Florida. In theme one,I send anyone to TWO references...The fisherman(Dalripple) (sp) and the Coast Guard. When the fisherman grabbed Elian he was amazed how "fresh" Elian was...Dalripple said Elain was only in the water an hour to an hour and ahalf.Adding he was NOT hungry, dehydrated or SUNBURNED.Also Dalripple added that Elian was as healthy as boys in the neighborhood. One can further read the 1st Coast Guard report in receiving Elian. The comments were like Dalripple's..."not dehydrated, not sunburned and in excellent shape"....So how did this get spun to the "fact" that little Elian was floating for 3 days til Dolphins appeared ? Theme TWO:....ever see on ABCCBSNBC,FOX,pMSNBCorCNN when a host asks the guest a question and 9 seconds later the COMPUTER takes a PROGRAMMED commercial called "a hard break" ? A hard break is TIME ZONE AND MINUTE MANGAGED PRE SOLD ADVERTISING SPOTS...sold at various amounts based on time and market intent. So the question of course is,allowing all the networks mentioned above, the infusion of humans and talking heads to boot, how could the networks NOT KNOW that Pensacola was a different TIME ZONE when a COMMERCIAL AND PROGRAM takes hard breaks? Answer....they knew and could care less ? How do I know that ? I just wrote all the above but see anyone being held accountable?
