Good Morning!!
Do not let them die in vain!!
Anthrax has spread to Hawaii, with positive readings showing up in Honolulu.
The Brentwood postal sorting facility is now a crime scene and is closed. All mail in that facility, both incoming and outgoing, has been quarantined. Considering the time of the month, many people who live in the District are going to have issues with credit card and utility bills literally stuck in the mail.
Washington, DC, has announced plans to distribute antibiotics to large portions of the population if contamination is determined to have moved beyond the postal facility.
In case you have not seen them, here are photos of the tainted envelopes and their associated letters:
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
GOP caves on judges This was discussed on Brit Hume's show last night.
My thinking is that the Pres. will find away around this Dem obstruction...
Nita - a late, but sincere VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!
Byron York on the American Spectator Very interesting, and sad, too.
Were Rolling Now!! Day 18
REMEMBER THE TRADE CENTER!!
The news as reported in The Washington Times:
[Note All links go to The Washington Times website.]
1. Anthrax was found in the White House mail.
[(Dont panic this is the Washington Times, working on a 24-hour news cycle, catching up to yesterdays breaking news that we all know about.) The President, however, has assured us he is safe.]
( Anthrax found in White House mail )
2. The President himself, in a meeting with the Israeli Foreign Minister, asked that country to withdraw military units from the Palestinian Authority areas.
[Its the right thing to do, from our perspective. From the Israeli perspective, I can understand their charges of hypocrisy. We wouldnt listen to another country telling us how to handle the murder of a Cabinet official. That is why, however, I feel that assassination was accomplished by our enemy to try and further disrupt the area.]
( Israeli actions get harsh response )
3. More cases of anthrax have been reported.
[(Again, remember the 24-hour news cycle.) There are fresh reports on the radio this morning there may be other cases in a Maryland hospital related to Brentwood attack.]
( More cases of anthrax exposure reported )
4. Taliban forces are taking refuge in civilian areas.
[Despicable. Afgoneistan should be given fair warning 48 hours will do to move its military units out of civilian areas or those will be considered legitimate military targets.]
( Taliban military forces hide from bombing in civilian areas )
5. Females may be able to drop bombs on Afgoneistan, but they are barred by law from operating in special forces units.
[And this is a problem how?]
( Female warriors kept off ground for special-ops missions )
6. The House passes legislation authorizing the issuance of War Bonds for the first time since 1945.
[Actually, the World War II War Bonds never stopped and we are all familiar with what they became: Series EE Bonds, or Savings Bonds.]
( House OKs plan to issue war bonds )
7. Senate Republicans, continuing their appeasement of the demonflops, caved on the issue of judicial nominees.
[Werent they the ones accusing Republicans of the same thing during the last Administration. Sheez.]
( Daschle wins struggle over judicial nominations )
We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.

List of organizations assisting terrorist victims & their families
Now you have the info, go support the United States of America!!!
My first inclination was to smack the abuse button; however, I would like to understand to whom you are addressing your remarks: me, or the terrorists?
apoligies Michigans Madman
I am honored to be but one of the common people called on, now, to protect and defend our Liberty ... our Country.
I feel *blessed* in the commonality we all now share with those Patriots who came before us ...
We are no longer merely citizens going through our daily lives ... we are Conscripted Citizens ... Citizen Soldiers ... each one of us ... and I am so very proud of this duty ...
From here forward our lives will forever be made more rich and filled with a deeper meaning ... each time we complete a daily task which now seems so extraordinary ... whether it is opening our mail, taking a flight on a plane, a ride on a train ... going to work each day ... attending Parent/Teacher night at school ... we come ever so much closer to membership in that most elite of all groups ...Homefront Patriots. ....
None of us will ever have another chance like this again to hold and protect the sacred cloth of Liberty.
Really, when you think about it, courage is a clear acceptance of the danger present and a mental willingness to endure it ... well beyond limits you set before... ordinary people saying no to the tyrants and calmly taking the consequences of this resistance.
*Prayers* to and for us ALL ... and *prayers* to our Armed Forces.
Put me in, Coach ... I am ready to play!!!
Lawmaker Ponders a Congressional Catastrophe
In brief:
An Amendment to the Consitution is being considered that would allow, in the event of a calamity claiming more than 25% of the Members of Congress, state governors to appoint new members for a 90-day period to allow for orderly special elections to take place and the business of the country in the time of crisis to continue.
Opinion:
Sounds reasonble.
Guenevere - Must start today on plans to keep husband fed while I'm away again next week.
Chairman - I have a feeling this idiot means us, you, this thread...sigh... What a piece of trash!
Please take into account, because of the city within which I work, I'm probably a bit hypersensitive to this stuff.
I'm trying the best I can to take that into account when I react to things, but it is difficult.
Press on, Chairman.....I know it's getting harder........We are at War!
'Twas my impression as well, Molly ... we shall see.
Good MORNing to you!!!
My poor American Spectator ... it was a light in the darkness for me at one time. *sigh*
