How do you add bookmarks to profile?

Hi, I'm new to FreeRepublic and can't seem to find out how to add bookmarks to my profile. I clicked on 'edit bookmarks' but it just sent me to a page that said 'empty'. Which of course is true because I don't have any bookmarks in there. How do I start out adding them? Thanks for any help and sorry for my ignorance.

Look at the top of the page, beside "Search". That is the "bookmark" link.

LOL, see that title on the top of the thread that says "Bookmark"? When you want to bookmark a thread, just click on that, Voila!

Look at the top or the bottom of a post. Click on "Bookmark" and the post will be added to your profile page.

At the bottom of this page you will see bookmark. Click on it. It will save that post on your home page.

You will see an address that looks like this:

Highlight it and copy it.
to make a link ...... TYPE THE FOLLOWING...

That should give you a link that looks like this: RobertBauman

Took me a while to figure it out too. When I did, I was able to wipe all the crayon scribbles off the wall. I left all my passwords of course.

It was mauch easier to just hit "add bookmark" at the top or bottom of the threads. Is that gone forever?

Bookmark is no longer at the top of the page next to search. I can't find my old bookmarks. I asked this of someone else recently. Help!!

Sorry, I found my old bookmarks under my profile page but still bookmarks does not show at the top of the page along with search, self-search, etc. Someone else asked about this too.
