So will somebody finally admit our Stinger missles may have come back to haunt us, or will this be another TWA 800 style cover-up.

From what i've read it was the pilot, not a missle.

American Airlines flight 587, Flight 800, Egyptian Air (Muslim suicide).

Either New York air space is cursed or there is something in that area that needs serious investigating.

Is there any other US airline regions that have had this much trouble this resently?

Atlanta and Miami, on the east coast, haven't had this much touble.

In the west, Dever and LAX, haven't seen these kinds of disasters.

O'hare, Dallas-Fort Worth. Nothing.

New York needs to be investigated under an electron microscope.

Note that the pictures of the engine which fell from the aircraft (shown in the Texaco station) shows no signs whatsoever of any damage from the inside out (turbine blades penetrating the cowling, or holes from same).

Thank you for the photos. Tragic! At least the Qatari security men are not jumping up and down cheering.

Are there any other "areas" that have three major airports? I don't think so.

Anyone know how many people were killed on the ground? So sad. Hope it wasn't another attack but how will we know?

It looks like it just fell off. No trauma other than the impact when it landed.

Oh, don't listen to me. I was thinking of 990, not 800. Nevermind. I'll be in the corner, wearing a dunce's cap...
