What's a shame about boondocks, is the guy has a real good sense of comic strip structure, and can right funny. Too bad he has to put such talents to a leftists purpose.

Garry Trudeau, on the other hand, no longer has a sense of comic structure, can't write jokes, and he doesn't even draw his own strip (he uses staff to do so).

Yes, I read both this morning, but after reading so many more that were very patriotic is all respects, I did not let these two loser cartoons get me down. Let DU pay them homage....I won't. Take a look at B.C., Luann, Dennis the Menace, Beetle Baily, Cathy, Warped...just to name a few and you will feel a heck of a lot better.

Aaron Magruder's artwork is based on the manga style. Look at the eyes and the hair; it reminds one of Miho Obana's style from her wildly popular serial Kodomo no Omocha ("Child's Toy"), that was published in Afternoon Ribon Magazine back in 1994.

Sadly, it is artwork in the service of hateful extremism. This fellow called Clarence Thomas a "bootlicker". This fellow hates white people in general and white Republicans in particular.

I looked back through a number of these "Boondocks" cartoons. Mostly they seem irrelevant. I had never seen them before but then again I don't look at the 'toons. None of them made me even smile but I also wasn't outraged. They seem mostly pedestrian to me.

More...has homosexual child; is obese; convinced Gore won; attends local activist "church"; volunteers at abortion mill; has ponytail (if male), moustache (if female).
