About three weeks ago, someone placed a photo on one of the threads that showed one of the Towers burning, with many people at the windows. One of the people, a woman, was holding her baby out of the window so it could breathe.
The poster made the comment that if anyone felt their resolve slipping, just take a look at that photo.
My resolve will never slip, but I would like to capture that photo to share with my friends.
Can anyone help identify the thread that contains this photo?
Many thanks for your help.

Diogenesis, do you know anything about the origin of the pic? Like who took it, was it a long range lens, where was it published?
Even today, my eyes tear up looking at these pictures. I have a "slide show" saved to my computer that shows people falling to their deaths. I viewed it once...the first time I received it by e-mail (only days after the attack)....and have not yet been able to view it again.
Let's continue to pray for the victims and their survivors. We shall never forget!
And to the original photo, apparently from the NYTimes:

My God, I can't even begin to imagine what thoughts must have been running through that mother's mind during her last moments together with her baby. Was she perhaps waiting for a fleet of helicopters to begin circling the tower in a rescue attempt? Did she jump to escape the flames with the baby in her arms? Did she bring her purse with her so she could be identified? Were they ever found and ID'd or are they still among the thousands missing? Did the baby's father get a chance to lay them to rest, or was the memorial service held in their absence? We'll probably never know the answers.
I hope there was a "mother and child reunion" in heaven for both of them, and that they found eternal peace.
It's good that pictures like this stay in active circulation. People had their heads buried in the sand for so long before these attacks occurred; it's easy for society to slip into denial as time goes by and move along to the next headline. We must NEVER forget!!!
We should pray that they remain on that side.

I also suspect that if an "Aryan Nation" type outfit had been found responsible, we'd have a far far more gruesome collection of publicly displayed images of 9/11.
The baying and moaning about "civil liberties" for enemy aliens is childish, stupid and dangerous.
I want everyone opposed to a rigorous crackdown on the obvious likely accomplices, stooges, supporters, fellow travelers and sleepers to sign a register with their home addresses, so they can be *sure* of reprisals should more maniacal thugs slip through our fingers.
I cannot even imagine how anyone could have repaired them.
Flippant recitation of "numbers" has lost it's impact, but the sight of a parent trying desperately to save an innocent baby produces adrenalin and resolve everytime it is seen.
I believe that every newscast, everyday should conclude with a family member of a victim of this terrorist, cowardly act telling the world about their lost loved one. We all have to take this abomination personally.
