LAGOS, Nigeria -- Former U.S. Vice President Al Gore told a Nigerian audience today that he now runs a family restaurant in Tennessee.

Gore narrowly lost the 2000 U.S. presidential election to Republican George W. Bush.

Chineese takeout. He served that for 8 years in the White House

GORE: "Did you want a lock box with that super size number 3?"
"That'll be $4.87, please pull around."

I'm not sure it's wise (to drive),"

What a spineless girly-man.
Who's got the picture of Bush driving the truck with a world leader riding shotgun?

2 words came to mind when I first saw GWB: compassionate conservative

2 words came to mind when I first saw Gore: food services

Proof, once again, to always go with your gut.

"For example, there are usually a lot of cars on the road. Now it takes a lot longer to get around, and given that I haven't driven for eight years, I'm not sure it's wise (to drive)," said Gore, who was driven in a limousine while he was vice president.

Well $hit! He was driven around in a limousine his whole life for crying out loud! How the hell do you think he went to St. Albans from his posh room at the Fairfax Hotel on embassy Row in DC when he was growing up? He certainly did not take the effin yellow bus!

Sure. Rich man grows up in rich family in Washington and spends past eight years being chef-fed. Anyone think he knows how to cook - much less low-cost food like he claims he's now selling?

But Algore did one thing right - going to Nigeria to say this; the land of frauds fits him perfectly!

Algore in his own words, 1992-2000 - including Earth In The Balance

This is the second post today that I've gone back to double-check the source, thinking it MUST be The Onion! The other one was the robot opening the letter for leahy.

If al is running a restaurant, he'll probably serve buddah burgers!

Gore hasn't driven for eight years because his robotics "hand/eye coordination chip" burned out when he swore the oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

As for his restaurant, I'd bet he can wash dishes "cleaner and brighter" than anyone in Tennessee. His next venture will be doing detergent ads.
