[history]
December 6, 2001 -- WASHINGTON - Then-President Clinton was aiming to "restore his popularity" after the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal when he bombed a medicine-making plant in Sudan, according to a lawsuit filed by the plant's owner.
The suit, which seeks $50 million in damages, blasts Clinton's claim that the plant was "associated" with terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden.

If Idris sues, he'll face a formidable obstacle: a senior Administration official says the government will argue that its attack is covered by a doctrine of international law known as sovereign immunity and cannot be challenged in court.
This smells VERRRRRY fishy to me....the Bush Admin. has to argue that the Clinton Admin did the right thing....geeesh.... Vernon Jordan's lawfirm is on Idris's side,so when Wag the Dog comes up, they can say...hey EVEN the BUSH Admin. says Clinton didn't do anything wrong!

Our government wasn't playing hide the cigar with Monica Lewinsky. Clinton ordered this attack, our military was simply following orders. Why is Bill Clinton not being sued individually for this fiasco?

I clearly remember Clinton getting his mug on TV and declaring a "War on Terrorism". Problem is, it turned out to be a "War on Pharmaceuticals" that only lasted a day and a thinly veiled attempt to get the news to briefly change the focus away from the Lewinsky Matter, which they gladly did I might add.

When are the victims of the WTC going to sue Clinton for negligence? His conduct in office should raise enough questions for a serious legal contest.

I'm surprised Larry Klayman isn't in on this. Oh, that's right, this guy actually wants to win.
