I run into an interesting piece of information on Internet:
"... the Corporation for Public Broadcasting has established procedures for the public to complain about bias or unfairness.
Anyone who wishes to complain about an unbalanced report should contact:
Public Comment
P.O. Box 50880
Washington, DC 20091
800-356-2626
..."
Should we freep NPR on a regular basis ? For example, if Hilary Clinton is mentioned without qualification as a "controversial" senator, it is a reason to complain about bias.

Unfortunately NPR does not care what people who call or write or even whether anyone listens. These procedures where established by the GOP when they took over the House a few years ago in order to give Republicans political cover for continuing to fund NPR.
But it is a nice chance to vent a little rant and relieve some frustrations.

Bias? At NPR? I think not! There's tall leftists, short leftists, female leftists, male leftists, your guess is as god as mine leftists.
There's black leftists, white leftists, brown leftists, yellow leftists, red leftists.
There's leftists from Canada, leftists from Russia, leftists from Mali, Heck I bet there's even one armed albino hypno therapist leftists.
Now I ask you how can anyone say there's Bias at NPR?

"Unfortunately NPR does not care what people who call or write or even whether anyone listens."I do not think that they will change their stripes, however, official complain will force them to write official response, 10 official complains will make them to write 10 official responses etc. If there is a 10,000 complains it may be a topic during budget process etc.
And they are quite responsive, I once complained to "Connections" and I got back a small firestorm of e-mail responses.

I called the 1-800 number when it was first established. They were polite but I never received any further response or saw any change in bias.

Back in 94 when the GOP first required NPR and PBS to take complaints it was all one system staffed by operators who would take complaints about both org's.
