Hi Everyone!!
Just a note to tell you that on January 17, 2002 in Washington, D.C. the MRC is having its
"DISHONORS AWARDS:
Roasting the Most Outrageously
Biased Reporters of the Year"
This year we expect 1,000+ people to attend so we are having it in the BEAUTIFUL Atrium of the
Ronald Reagan International Trade Center. I hope we can get a few tables of Freepers again!
It was a blast having ya'll at the CLINTON FUNERAL and the Dishonors Awards in 1999.
We have an EXCELLENT SHOW planned and a very, VERY, very special video at the end
that people will be talking about for years!
Katherine Harris is coming up from Florida to accept "The Sore Loser Award for Refusing to
Concede that Bush Won." Cal Thomas is the Master of Ceremonies, Steve Forbes is
accepting another award, and John Fund is a presenter...and the list of big names goes on!
If you're interested in tickets ACT FAST. We expect to sell out in a couple of weeks.
ORDER TICKETS HERE: (sorry I couldn't make it link)

The award goes to Robert Fisk, and no one else qualifies quite like him.Whatever the category, he wins.

Who are the nominees?
To: BonnieL
I'm hoping that Katherine Harris will be there to 'present' that award and NOT 'accept' it like you have typed.
Sorry for the 'proof read'.

My 2 cents if their should be any doubt about media bias:
-A poll of 136 Washington reporters and bureau chiefs found 89% percent said they voted for Clinton and 7% for Bush in 1992. - Roper/Freedom Forum
-From the same poll 4% indentified themselves as Republican.
-80% of journalists in one poll admitted to injecting their own bias in their reporting. - Paul Harvey Radio
Wish I could attend, luv the work the MRC does

No, actually she (KH) WILL be there to ACCEPT the award.
It's a Roast. :o) The objects of the DisHonor Award
category (the real winners) would never come to the event
so we have notable names accept them -- throwing jabs all
the way. It's hilarious!! Check our our Dishonors Awards
from 1999 -- on the MRC's website www.mrc.org
Clarence Thomas accepted the award for Julianne Malveaux
who in the winning clip wished that Clarence would die of
heart disease. So as you can imagine he had some very
kind words for her!! hahhahaha
