[history]
Newsweek called it "fascinating." The Boston Globe "engaging" in the way it "chronicles a frighteningly chaotic moment when our government was in more disarray than most of us knew." Richard Dreyfuss, one of its stars, says it was "the best historical drama I had ever read," adding elegantly that "it doesn't screw around with the truth."

So what does our esteemed panel think the odds are that Mr. allen will be invited on to the ABCNNBCBS news and entertainment shows to review this film?
I bet he doesn't get a single call...can't have an eyewitness messing up Hollywood history, can we? Will Larry King call? Or Babwa Walters? Or even Jim Lehrer? I think not...
About the best we can hope for is that voices will be raised on the TV shout shows and indignation voiced on radio talk shows about this.

Watched it. Total crap. Anything that socialist Dreyfus is in is garbage. I bet he jumped at the chance to portray a character in a movie that bashed Reagan and his administration. It was like a cartoon. Oh well, who expects Hollywood to get it right?

Can't wait for Stone's film: "9/11: Rebellion Against America" With Stone making up history again it will be more like: "9/11: First Steps to Freedom". The shame of it is many Americans have such a derth of even current history and less of history in general all he has to wait is a few years and many will take his story as the real one.
In a dream world Americans would know enough factual history that Stone's trash would be ignored enough that he could never get another studio to back him.

The sad part is that if you replaced the word "Reagan" with "Lincoln" in this article, FR's RINOs would be falling all over the themselves to praise Oliver Stone. (Just like they did with ultra liberal Spielberg)

Casting Richard Dreyfuss to play Alexander Haig is like casting Erkel to play Colin Powell.

The only difference between Oliver Stone and a bag of dog crap, is the bag.
