ABOUT BILL YOUNT

Bill Yount has been a member of Faith Chapel in Hagerstown, Maryland, and a home missionary for the past twenty-five years. He faithfully served in Prison Ministry at Mount Hope Inc. for twenty-three years and now travels full-time, ministering in churches and Aglow circles. He is currently an Advisor at Large for Women's Aglow International.

Bill's calling is to encourage the Body of Christ to move forward into God's Destiny as they are sent into the Harvest field. "Humility and Humor" characterize his ministry as he brings forth a fresh word that is "in season" proclaiming the word of the Lord! The shofar or ram's horn is often used in his meetings breaking the powers of darkness over regions, churches and house-holds. The shofar represents God's breath blowing into the nostrils of His people, reviving them and awakening the lost. He travels across the U.S. and at times abroad. Many of God's messages he ministers prophetically come out of every day life with his family and friends.

Americans who believe in Jesus Christ today should be spending time in prayer, earnest, confessing, intercessionary and praising with repentance prayer! For our nation, for our President, for our security teams, and most importantly of course for the souls of those who are facing an end of "life as we have known it" and are in or close to the pit of despair.

The Good News of Jesus Christ is the Gospel of HOPE! Hope for all who despair and for all who are fearful and downcast. Hope for the hurting. Hope for the distraught. Hope for those who see nothing but darkness ahead.

Jesus Christ is truly the Light of the World and those who come to Him will no more walk in darkness but in the Light of His Life!

Yesterday, I heard the testimony of a man who was the most unexpected person in the world to be "saved." Big, burly, hard drinking man who spent most of his time at a bar with his drinking friends. I didn't get to hear all of it - (on Dr. Dobson's program) but what I heard was so moving and so timely! This man, this burly, ugly man as he called himself - was RADICALLY SAVED and TRANSFORMED by God through Jesus Christ and the salvation that is able to save to the uttermost, those who turn to Him!

If anyone else heard this man's story - I would appreciate that info being posted here.

Its inevitable and unstoppable, the eternal Kingdom of unspeakable love, joy, and peace in the Holy Spirt. Saints, shout Amen, because satan's day is just about done, and the "DAY OF THE LORD" is upon us!!!!! The walls of sin will crumble under the overwhelming weight of a new birth and a new body of incorruptable sin-free flesh.

Pastor Yount's use of metaphor is very appropros for this message. His message is to encourage and build up the the Church, under divine inspiration, as she presses into intercessory prayer for our nation.

Though his wording is a little florid, the author spelled out the crux of the matter.

The left wing liberalist culture which has flourished for the past ten years is the problem. God has been almost completely...err...deleted from our culture, and has been replaced by Animism, Deism, the cult of "if it feels good, do it", etc.

The minds of our children have been corrupted by political correctness.

I pray our culture realizes this before it's too late for us.

If they read it all, then it is OK for them to ridicule, at their peril. But, if they see the title and and don't read it, but take that as an opportunity to ridicule Jesus Christ and His Church, again it is at their own peril. Galatians 6:7, 'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

When this Nation returns to God, it will be healed.

oh may there be revival in our churches and in our nation, Just like the great city of Nineveh.

Nineveh has been on my mind a lot lately. Many parallels to today.

Thanks for the post. One of my prayers since Sept 11th has been that the churches would be given special annointing to offer answers and hope to those who come searching following the attacks. This is great confirmation to not only keep it up, but to step it up!
