Large Wide Hips of High School Girls Made For Cooking, Sewing, Not Sports [What do you think?]

I once saw a news magazine show and have read a few newspaper health articles where they portrayed the female athlete and their amount of injuries they received from playing sports. They had a high amount of knee injuries, etc.
THAT'S BECAUSE THEY WERE BUILT TO HAVE BABIES AND NOT BE PLAYING SPORTS
BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY!!! NO?
[T]he large, wide hips of women were made to bear children. Not for running and sports. Women's bodies were not made for many of the sports in which girl's participate.
They'd be better off in a cooking and sewing club after school.

My daugher finished a season of H.S. volleyball, immediately followed by a season of club volleyball without problems. OTOH, she also complains that her hips aren't wide enough.

I don't know what high school you went to, but I have not seen hips that thin sine I left school.

Your comments were so "noteworthy" I thought they deserved a thread of their own. I would like to hear from other freepers with high school aged girls who participate in sports since my daughters are not that old yet.

Knee injuries? Try Pop Warner football.
BTW, you should give women's beach volleyball a view.

[T]he large, wide hips of women were made to bear children. Not for running and sports. Why not for both?

This is one of the most stupid vanities I've seen on FR (since this morning, actually.)

Don't Flame Me! Flame the author!

Since you asked, I would think this could be (and was being) covered on the previous thread.

That's just what I was thinking, but now realize that the Earl was graciously repeating another's post for our edification. I guess we can call it a vicarious flame.

At this point in time, women are still better at bearing children than men.

The only thing I have against this post is the cooking and sewing club thing. How about math and science for crying out loud. As far as the big hips girls. Be glad you've got em. God made us beautiful for a reason....to have babies and they are the best gift that too many people take for granted these days.
