For you comments. I can't speak to the authenticity of either photograph. The noses do look different - the one on the left angles up towards the cheeks, the other one has a longer nose that is flat on the bottom.

Notice that the lighting is VERY different in the two photos.

On my monitor, the first looks like the nose was touched up. It has a different coloring than the rest of the face and it is uniform across the entire nose.

I don't have a copy of the obl confession video nor authentic photos of obl himself - but anyone who does is hereby alerted to decide for themselves if the obls match.

I could point out that the DOD released the confession video, and they are not exactly a neutral party in the conflict. However, I am not suggesting that the DOD necessarily faked the video - as another poster pointed out, part of obl's security rests in having lots of doubles.

What abou kidney disease? Could the need for dialysis cause facial swelling? A call to the medical professionals out there.

O.K. so you don't have a copy of the OBL confessional video. So? What are these photographs? Did you just pull two photos out of the Kabul High yearbook? :) What is being asserted here? Just posting two photographs and asking us to compare is not very interesting.

Both photos are represented as being obl, the one on the left being from the confession video. Are they photos of the same person - and if so, what's with the noses, and if not, who are the different people? Many in the Arab world have called the video a fake, and one of obl's brothers stated about the video that "that isn't my brother."

I don't think they're even the same guy! The beard and smile are not the same, and the second photo is of a guy with a much longer face than the first. I don't think the first one is even Osama at all, but a look-alike. Those ragheads all look the same anyway, and I think that's what they're counting on.
