Married, Happily (Finally!) Spent first 14 years of my life moving with my father from one Air Force base to another. Now slowly going to a quiet place called Over the Hill. Great grandson of a volunteer in the Army of Northern Virginia, Great(3)Grandson of an American officer in the Revolution. Son of a WW II Navy vet who decided to change to the Air Force after the war to be home with his family more.

I enjoy studying the Civil War, but I do feel that had the South prevailed there would have been no strong United States to face evil in the world in the 20th century and beyond. Therefore I must conclude that the outcome of that war was correct and blessed by The Almighty.
