Member of FREE REPUBLIC basically since Jim Robinson decided to create a forum for thinking Americans. I truly believe Jim's effort has had a positive major impact on the politics of this country.

The Presidential election of 2000 and its few hundred vote margin of victory may have saved this nation. Had Al Gore been elected and the Clinton agenda continued our liberty would have been in serious jeopardy.

Knowledge is power.. Thanks Jim for creating a method for the average American to learn, discuss and enlighten.

I may be a little over the top, but where would we have been without the likes of Paul Revere!

Jim Robinson, in my opinion, is the "Paul Revere" of the 21st century... Instead of a horse, he rode the World Wide Web... along with his loyal "Freepers" alerting the nation of a very real threat to our freedoms and way of life.

"America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father's role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts -- a child -- as a competitor, an intrusion, and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the independent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign." Mother Teresa (Wall Street Journal, 2/25/94)

Our nation will prosper or decline in direct proportion to our selection of leaders who are guided by the Holy Spirit. If we fail to select Godly leaders our destiny will surely be as that of the Roman Empire.

"We are not going to tolerate these attacks from outlaw states, run by the strangest collection of misfits, looney tunes, and squalid criminals since the advent of the Third Reich."

Ronald Reagan

(speaking after terrorist attacks by Shi'ite Muslims, July 1985)
