Hi all Freepers! It's me, the notorious BRK! Sometimes my views are a bit extreme, but I consider the FreeRepublic a historical record, and I want to make sure my point of view gets across. In the future, students and researchers will be pouring over the records of the FreeRepublic.

Here are some selected thoughts on my political beliefs...

Primary Function Of Goverment - To secure the God given rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of property("happiness").

Self Government - Governing yourself. Not to be confused with "Democracy".

Democracy - A corrosive form of mass self delusion leading to socialism and fiscal collapse.

Law and Order - A necessary evil. Not everyone will govern themselves and therfore the rest of us have to be protected from thier irrational behavior.

Drug War - A poorly run, misguided, necessary evil. Mostly a result of a lack of self-governence among the people. If self governence were taught in school, then there would be less of this kind of garbage. Instead, children are encourgaed to "do thier own thing". Here is my Self Governence motto... "I will govern myself, so that others will never have to or get to govern me". How about teaching that??

Evolution - I don't have all the answers for this. But my common sense tells me this. It is obvious that the complex nature of ANY living thing is self evidence of creation. There would be thousands or millions of "little tiny" steps between each species that we know today. They draw a silly chart with two or three steps and I am suppossed to believe that?
