I found out about FreeRepublic through a fellow freeper. He thought I was a democrat until I made comments that only a republican would make.
I work in an office with educators in Northern VA and to my surprise it is filled with liberal minded people – most of the liberals are from Maryland. I just keep my mouth shut when political topics/issues are being discussed. I learned my lesson after finding out that you cannot have a fair and balanced debate with liberals. They do not tolerate other opinions outside their own realm.
I’m a southern country gal from Louisiana but now reside in Northern VA. It took me six years to get used to this part of the country. Northern Virginia was too fast paced for me in the beginning. I still don’t really like going east on Route 7 – I prefer going west.
