Proudly wore an “I Like Ike” button in 1952. Class of 1960 in high school. USMC 1961-1969. 200 combat missions in the back seat of an F-4B. Married 42 years thanks to a very patient wife.

Anybody who doubts “that you can fool some of the people all of the time” has never studied the average Massachusetts voter. But if the Cubs and the Red Sox ever meet in the World Series, I will die a happy man.

Edited 03/10/2010: I take back what I said about "the average Massachusetts voter." Scott Brown won! I can now die a happy man, but would be ecstatic if the Cubs and the Sox ever meet in October.
