I am an anesthesiologist. I became a conservative in 1980 while traveling in Eastern Europe and spending some time with refugees fleeing totalitarian regime in Romania. Returning home and listening to the debate, I worked on Reagan's behalf. The threats have changed but the real enemy, flawed naive thinking remains the same.
