Female teachers are often treated differently in the media than male teachers who have sex with underage students.
According to Harry Krop, a licensed psychologist in Gainesville
"The motivation, for adult women who form a sexual relationship with boys is different than men who develop relationships with girls. Men who have sex with girls, tend to have sexual disorders, such as pedophilia. But for women, it's not about the sex, but rather the romance. It's more of a need to be desired, to have someone find them attractive and the need for attention," Krop said.

Tiffany Copley, 25, of Richford, worked at Enosburg Falls High School, before she was fired last week. She pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges in court on Monda Update: A Vermont District Court judge sentenced Tiffany Copley to one to 15 years in prison with all but six months suspended for one count of sexual assault on a minor. After her release, Copley will be barred from any contact with boys younger than 16 who are not her children. Witnesses also saw the teacher and student kissing in the boy's car. DeLuca, who had taught at the high school since 2001, was fired in December 2005, following a school district investigation. Jennifer Hines Chiefland, FL. A former teacher's aide at a Levy County charter school was arrested Wednesday amid allegations that she had sex with four male students at the school, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Jennifer Hines, 32, of Old Town, was arrested at her home on three counts of unlawful sexual activity with minors and one count of lewd and lascivious offenses on a minor under 16, the FDLE reported. Hines was working as a teacher's aide at New Hope Charter High School in Chiefland when the alleged incidents occurred in Dixie County between October 2004 and February 2004, said FDLE spokesman Phil Kiracofe. The students, ages 15 to 17, told investigators that on some occasions, Hines drank alcohol and smoked marijuana with them. |

When Letourneau was arrested in 1997, she was already pregnant with Fualaau's daughter. ABC-7 has learned that Las Cruces Police have again arrested 52-year-old Donna McKnight for alleged sexual misconduct with a 14-year-old boy. Ms. McJnight was previously charged with one count of Criminal Sexual Penetration, one count of Criminal Sexual Contact, and two other related charges in Dona Ana County. Lisa Myhre (aka Lisa Street) Racine, Wisconsin A 33-year-old special education teacher's aide, Lisa Myhre (aka Lisa Street), was arrested Monday and charged for alleged sexual assault of a boy over a two-year period. The sexual contact began when the student was just 14-years-old and in the eighth grade at McKinley Middle School. The relationship ended on or just before January 2005, according to the complaint. Myhre allegedly performed oral sex on the boy, touched him sexually, and kissed him throughout the course of the relationship. Cameo Patch Tooele, Utah - Last January, 29-year-old Tooele High School substitute teacher Cameo Patch was arrested for illegal sexual activity with a student and, last month, she pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of misdemeanor sexual battery. UPDATE The judge suspended a one-year jail term and placed Patch on probation for 36 months. He also ordered her to obtain a psycho-sexual evaluation and fined her $2,000. Twenty-eight-year-old Sarah Salorio was charged with molesting the boys between May and December of 2004. The boys were between the ages of 12 and 14 at the time. Update: Bench-Salorio pleaded guilty to 29 counts of lewd acts with the three boys before Judge Richard Toohey in Orange County Superior Court under an agreement that she be sentenced to three to six years in prison. 1. Anyone who enters this country illegally must be forever barred from legal residency, let alone citizenship.
2. The right to obtain legal residency in the US must be fairly rationed among all the world's nations, and must not favor those who happen to have the geographic advantage of having their native country located near the US. Residency must be granted based on a variety of factors, with self-sufficiency, useful talents and/or knowledge, and other economic benefits to the US taking precedence over other considerations. Race (as opposed to nationality) should NOT be one of the factors considered, in any way at all.
3. Taxpayers must not be responsibile for paying the bills of immigrants they cannot afford to pay themselves. The rate of new immigrants must be controlled so as to not overwhelm the capacity of our infrastructure to absorb the increased population pressures.
4. Those born to parents neither of whom are US citizens must not automatically become US citizens.
5. English must be mastered before citizenship is granted. Legal residency should require either mastery of English, or yearly enrollment in a semester-long course in English as a second language.
6. And last, but not least: No reform is permissible until we prove we can a) remove the illegals who are here, and b) prevent new illegals from arriving.
