Just an older (late-forties) southern conservative Freeper here in South Carolina. Served my time in the military with the 82nd Airborne Division and the 509th Airborne Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy from the late seventies to the mid-eighties. Got an Ex and three girls (Amanda, Kelly and Rachel) - the youngest two still in college ... the oldest is a liberal journalist doing the news down in my old Airborne School stomping grounds of Columbus, Georgia. 11 dogs, seven of which are huskies, that we rescued from the pound ... Meeka, Milo, Kacie, Sadie, Henry, Topaz, ZZ Top, Whitey, Quatro and Quiness . Met George Dub-Yah one time, way back when his Dad was running the first time around, at our family restaurant in Prosperity which was sort of a bastion for Conservatives in this state back then - we've since sold the restaurant after 22 years. All the recent great ones came through there including Bob and Libby, Ronnie, Dub-Yah and his Dad, Strom, Floyd Spence and others. Grew up in Lee Attwater country in Newberry County SC ... Lee would bring them by for lunch during their campaigns. I'm a Revolutionary and Civil War buff ... and I love the Gamecocks of the flagship university in my state, The University of South Carolina.
