I'm a libertarian-leaning conservative who has been fortunate enough to hold several elected offices within the GOP.
My youngest son is now 22, so I'm not sure if I'm still a single parent or not. Not that it really matters.

I used to work in management in a regional office for a large insurance company -- and no, I don't know the gecko personally.
I am concerned that the Republican Party is drifting without a solid philosophical base. I'd like to see more empahsis on why we believe as we do, not just what we believe. This applies not just to candidates, but to all party members.
