My wife Doris Irene Edwards Steinnerd Thornburgh passed away Feb 17th, 2004 due to Breast Cancer gone to the bone and she was better person than I am, more style in her little finger than in my whole body. She was given six months just a few months after we were married. She fought like hell and made it four and a half years. I will treasure knowing her for the rest of my life. The only thing she asked was I tell my next wife about her. An incredible statement, if you think about it. SHE assumed another lady would accept me as her husband.
