Look over your shoulder. The Republicans have deserted you; they are not conservatives. Consider the Libertarian party. If it doesn't completely meet your fancy, join, and change it. That's what politics is all about: change your party, or leave it. You'll stay in the GOP, won't you? Fight the juggernaut and/or be a lapdog. You should be proud, and optimistic. You're on a winning path. The Dems have moved to the far left, and the GOP has filled the void by moving in their direction. Are you a conservative or a Republican?
