It was 2004, socialist Howard Dean was the front runner in the race to become the Democrat’s presidential nominee, and the lapdog media was thrilled. He was a “metrosexual”, a new kind of man. Confident in a pink shirt, better groomed and better looking than most, he was the ideal face for the Democrat Party.

I’m a retro sexual. Keepin’ it real. I mostly wear black t-shirts and jeans (it makes shopping so much easier). After 47 years of hard living, nobody’s asking me to be their spokesmodel.

I don't talk in circles. Politically, I fight for the government to get out of my way and to return to me my God-given freedoms.

My wife, 3 school-aged kids and I live in the mountains outside of Washington, DC. I make my living as a photographer and computer engineer. Don’t let the Maryland residency fool you - like most of my neighbors I’m a self-reliant conservative.
