I was born and raised in the (used to be ) wonderful, Conservative, easy going paradise called Oregon. I have had a beautiful Wife who is a native of Northern Thailand since 1990 and have lived in Thailand from 1994 until 2018. Our home was there in the Province of Chiang Mai.I am a Vietnam Vet, FIRM BELIEVER in the unrestricted/unregistered ownership of firearms of the owners choice(in Thailand only criminals carry them, that includes the uniformed variety). I chose to live out in the country, (being an Oregon country boy), around the real Thai people rather than in the City in an upscale housing project, like 90% of the foreigners that come here to live do. we, in 2008, established a new VFW Post in Chiang Mai, I had to relocate so I can use VA health. And I brought my 18 yo son with me so he can get a good education and get away from the Dictatorial environment that is brewing/has bred for 5 years. Had to just walk away from 2 houses and a fairly new car and pickup.
