I found my way to Texas by way of Colorado in 1998. I discovered very soon after moving here that it is REALLY hot in the summer. :) A month after moving to this great state I met my best friend (kneezles) and we were married 7 months later.

We live here with our two dogs, one cat, and one turtle. I have two step children, a boy and a girl and they are both in college.

I collect and love lighthouses. My three favorite lighthouses are Brant Point, Sankaty, and Great Point.

All of these lighthouses are found on Nantucket Island. I was able to visit all of them up close on a vacation to Nantucket and Boston.

My husband and I share our love of God, family, and our country. I cannot tell you how proud I am to be an American. One of my biggest dreams is to some day have tea with Barbara and Laura Bush.

It is true that I am what some here call a "Bush Bot" and I am proud of it. You see, I am so thankful that we now have a President that we can be proud of and have respect for. Here are two of my favorite pictures of the President and his beautiful wife.

I have had the privilege of meeting SpookBrat. What a joy she is. She is a very dear friend here at Free Republic, I consider her to be like a sister.

I could go on and on about all of the angels that I have met here at Free Republic, but I'm afraid I will leave someone out.
