I believe in the self-disciplined, altruistic form of Christianity: follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, without expecting a reward...act without reciprocity, do because it's the right thing, not because of the reward of eternal life. I like to contemplate the question: how would you act, if the prize at the end of the game was not there? Do we need a "bribe" to do good? What happens if there is not heaven? Do we all act like heathens, or are we able to still follow the life and teachings of Jesus?
