I am a proud American from Mexican immigrants. My ancestors are part of the original Tejanos (Texans) who came to Texas in the early 1900's. I grew up in a small town in Deep South Texas, which is located about 30 miles from the border with Mexico. I support LEGAL immigration, but not a path to citizenship for those who are here illegally. My conviction is that if you come to America you need to assimilate. I believe in a good work ethic and family values. I don't agree with many government issues, but do consider America the greatest country in this Earth. I feel that in America you have the ability to accomplish anything you desire. I believe in a strong military and the right to defend our country no matter the cost. I love hard rock and metal. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Master of Science in systems engineering. I currently work as an RF engineer for a defense contractor. I love sports (Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs), fishing and hunting. And finally, I am married to my high school sweet heart and we have three wonderful kids.
