UPDATE:
I no longer work at Heritage, spent a year working in the Senate as a Press Secretary for a Republican that barely lost re-election and now work for a prominent conservative organization. I don’t name them because my posts are my own thoughts, not theirs.

I do post here on behalf of a blog that I am editor of and a contributor to a blog for and by young conservatives and libertarians with a sense of humor, the First Friday blog. www.itsfirstfriday.com. Long story about the name explained on the site, but the short story is I organize a once a month happy hour on, you guessed it, the first Friday of every month for right of center people in DC with special guests. So far we’ve had Newt Gingrich, Grover Norquist, Michael Steele, Christopher Hitchens, Bill Sammon, Jim Pinkerton and others. There are pictures on the site. Upcoming guests include Tom DeLay, Jonah Goldberg, Karl Rove, Bob Novak, Michael Barone and more.

I work for the Heritage Foundation, fighting the good fight, and love every minute of it. There are few things more enjoyable than upsetting a liberal with facts, ahh...A liberal and facts! They never let the facts get in the way of a good story.
