I’m Wagonboy. A frequent caller to the Hugh Hewitt Radio Show. The name came about due to the money I’ve sent over the years to Conservative candidates and issues instead of going towards the restoration of the ‘69 GT Mustang convertible in my garage... Rather than tooling around in that hot-rod I was stuck in a Taurus Station Wagon. In an e-mail to Hugh lamenting this situation, that he read on air, I signed off, “Sincerely, Wagonboy” and the name stuck. He even put my story in his book, “If it’s Not Close, They Can’t Cheat”.
My go-to sites for news and info are FreeRepublic, Lucianne.com, Rush Limbaugh, Drudge, The Wall Street Journal and Investors Business Daily.
I read everything from Victor Davis Hanson, Mark Steyn, Claudia Rosette, Michael Barron, Holman Jenkins Jr., and Thomas Sowell.
Radio stations I camp on are Bill Bennett, Laura Ingraham, Rush, Medved, Hugh Hewitt, and Dennis Miller. I don’t watch network or cable news due to the lack of in depth discussion of issues, (much of the issues featured are fluff anyway) and the presentation is structured for the lowest IQ in the audience.
So, I stick to the radio and the web. I really think this internet thing is going to be big someday!
Stay to right,
-Wagonboy
