I am a former Security Forces personnel member who was discharged (honorably) out of Wright Patterson AFB Ohio (Apr 22 2003). I do some consulting in and around town and must travel extensively. Getting away from the military did not cut down on my away time.
I was shocked and frightened by the condition of the military in logistical standards but can tell you there are many quality people guarding this nation. It shouldn't be surprising to the readers on this site, that most of the people I interacted with (in the military) were very conservative.
During the few times I get leisure access to a P.C., I have enjoyed reading and cooresponding with "freepers". This is an outlet for which I am thankful.
