It’s all about Trump. No one is voting for or against him based on a running mate. He should pick someone he thinks would be a successor. Someone who is a like minded individual with the stones of a Donald Trump. If there are any.

Tiffany Trump is Donald Trump’s, only child who is eligible to be president. She would turn 35 3 weeks before the 2028 presidential election.
A good successor, based on his record as governor of Florida, would be Ron DeSantis, but I'm not sure Trump will do that.
I hope he does, and I don't care about the two guys from the same state issue [which would only matter in a close race and would only possibly effect the VP].
While DeSantis is not dynamic, he is a great manager and would fit well in '28.
