Agreed. These are the cards we are dealt. We will hope for the best and do what’s necessary.

The sun will come up tomorrow.

It's a tough night for the Republicans...but we (hopefully) will survive the next four years.

I am also prayerful that many of us who work in the private sector will not lose our employment immediately due to the massive layoffs that I'm sure will come.

...See my tag line, and let's work for 2010 and 2012!

Yes America WAS all that you describe... it is NO MORE!
No chance of regrouping when it is all going to be swept right back out from us...
I felt last week that if we lost, we would never see another free election.
My dear Grandson is currently in ROTC. I am going to beg him not to enlist for four years!!!
GOD help US and CLEANSE OUR SINS!

True U.S. conservatism with political clout died after the official end to President Ronald Reagan’s second term. There was just a spark of conservatism during the first two months of 1995, but it died soon after and never recovered.

I may be getting brand new deck of cards. Oddly, they all say, “I told you so”. I’m going to get a great deal of pleasure playing them. I have another deck just chocked full of, “hey, you guys voted for him.” “You’re getting the government that you deserve.”

I’m off the hook. A couple of months of BDS left & it’s time to sit back & enjoy the loons start to melt down over their “victory.” Their guy made promises that he can’t possibly keep & I’ll remind them about every single one as he breaks them.

I wrote that in reply to one of the vanities that got pulled. Hope you don’t mind my responding to you with it.

I got myself a pair of bootstaps & I know how to use them. ;o)

Exactly. We need to man up and see this as an opportunity to get the GOP back on the right track.

I totally agree. I despise the man’s moral views and shady past...but obviously our country wanted him. As a country we need to come together, but underneath conservatives need to reunite even stronger for another fight!

It isn’t that we are outside of the establishment that bothers me, that’s been the case since Clinton took power. The New Left has been in the positions of authority and information for decades now.

What bothers me is that the “Establishment” isn’t going to f*** around with their 2 years of unchallenged rule as they did in 1993.

And being “anti-Establishment” can permit them spin you as being “anti-Government” (seditious, not opposition party). Audits, FBI investigations, wiretaps, the whole nine yards. Just ask those who crossed Obama’s path during the campaign.

They have the full weight and power of government to crack your “back”. John McCain knows all about it. He still bears the scars.

Make no mistake. Ayers, Fonda, et al were NOT “anti-war”, they were PRO-COMMUNIST VICTORY.

God is on the throne. I was listening to Paul Camarata’s Saintcast podcast today and he always talks about saints from the long past. They went through the fires of hell, and if we have to, we will have to cling to our faith. God bless the USA and help us all to do what is right.

I am very glad we live in a two party system. Republicans grew fat and lazy in the 14 years after the Great Republican Revolution. Time to get back to the gym.

It is ours to decide. If Obama is our next President, so be it. Pray for him and work towards Conservative values.

Better hide your guns until you need them. Preferably in your liberal neighbor’s yard. Just in case.

Thanks for the post. Too many here are going nuts. NOW is the time rebuild the conservative movement. In two years we have to be in the position of taking back the country from the inevitable disaster that 0bama will lead us to.

We also have to stand by Sarah. I’ve seen a couple of posts that are beginning to blame her. Hell no! She turned what would have been a complete disaster. We have to stand by our conservative leaders and not join the MSM in throwing them under the bus. That’s what 0bama and the rats do, not us. We have to stand tall and strong!

With a renewed conservative movement, we will never taste defeat again. We start getting rid of the rinos tomorrow.

I will pray for my country and its citizens and most importantly its constitution. I agree with 90 percent of what you say, but I can't pray for a guy or a party that I belive don't love this country. I'll try not to hate "the one" personally but that's as good as it gets-and frankly that's for my own benefit. If Democratic Socialists loved this country they wouldn't go overseas and badmouth it. and- They wouldn't place their bets on America to lose so they could gain power. - They wouldn't hate a good man-President Bush the way they have hated him. So no. I'll sack up, I won't whine, I'll work for conservatism. But I won't pray for people that undermine this country and its constitution for their own gains. Good post. But I won't pray for my enemy.
